The IV sitting of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation took place on September 29-30 in Warsaw under chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov and Vice Prime Minister of Poland Waldemar Pawlak. The sides discussed the wide range of questions which embrace practically all spheres of economy and attained agreements in relation to a further collaboration.
On September 29, 2010 in the frame of the IV sitting of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography the meeting of the Polish part of the Intergovernmental Working Group on Geospatial information took place. The Ukrainian part was presented by the Secretary of the Working Group – O.A.Kolodyazhnyy, ULRMC General Director. During the meeting the results of actions, which are jointly realized, were presented, also were coordinated the directions of collaboration which became the part of the Intergovernmental Commission meeting Protocol. The Ukrainian part marked the necessity of coordinating the efforts of Ukraine in developing the national infrastructure of geospatial information with INSPIRE, other initiatives and EU programs, and also expressed the interest in Polish experience in this sphere. The need for further close collaboration was underlined for the sphere of geodesy, cartography, cadastre, geospatial information systems, remote sensing and others.
