The main objective of the workshop was to provide the participants with hands-on training for integrating environmental assessments and preparing reports, as well as demonstrating the application of environmental assessment tools. During the workshop sessions, the participants worked on such topics as transboundary and international cooperation in environmental assessment, management and distribution of environmental information and report preparation in accordance with international standards.

ULRMC specialists, together with the trainers from GRID-Arendal and UNEP/DEWA-Europe, discussed recommendations for preparing integrated reports and developing maps to support such documents. Trainers also led discussions on two case studies of environmental reports, the National Report on the State of the Environment in Ukraine and the State of the Dnipro Report.
